Woman arrested after stabbing fiance twice

Advertiser Staff

A 32-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of two counts of second degree assault Tuesday night after she allegedly stabbed her fiance with a knife on two separate occasions.

Police said the 46-year-old male and his fiancee were at their McCully-area home drinking when they got into an argument. At 7 p.m., the suspect allegedly got a knife and told the man to leave. When he refused she stabbed in him in the shoulder area, police said.

The fiance then left the apartment and didn't call police. He returned home at 10:30 p.m. and another argument ensued, police said, and the suspect allegedly stabbed the victim in the left bicep area.

Police were later called and the woman was then arrested.
