Film screenings and a flamenco guitar performance are highlights of a conference dedicated to films from Latin America and Spain.

Recent UH graduate Jasmine Skurtu will give a flamenco guitar performance followed by a screening of the film "Souls Without Borders: The Untold Story of the Abraham Lincoln Brigade" at 7:30 p.m.

The Abraham Lincoln Brigade was the first racially integrated American military unit, formed when some 2,800 Americans volunteered between 1936 and 1939 to help defend the Spanish democracy against fascism.
