Kailua designer Louisa Ngum, creator of Honey Girl and Little Honeys swim wear and leisure wear, has opened her first boutique at the Anchor Cove Shopping Center, 3416 Rice St. at Kalapaki Beach on Kaua'i. The bright yellow building offers a clue to what's inside: playful bikinis that are built for ocean sports, cute coverups and dresses, and whimsical swim wear for little girls. A 10 percent discount is offered to kama'aina.

SEDONA GEM & JEWELRY TRUNK SHOW

From 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. tomorrow and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, Sedona in Ward Centre will hold a jewelry and gem trunk show. Also offered: unique handmade jewelry from Deirdre Berg, a Washington stone dealer who offers dealer-direct prices.

Bring in a donation of ready-to-eat canned food for the Hawaii Foodbank this month, and receive 20 percent off one regular-priced non-consignment item that day. 591-8010.

FAMILY FIBER FESTIVAL

The Mission Houses Museum's free family fiber festival is 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. tomorrow. Experience hands-on kapa making, quilting with the Hawai'i Quilt Guild and lauhala weaving demonstrations with the Ulana Me Ka Lokomaika'i weavers hui.

SIDESHOW

It's part garden party, part day spa and part shopping expedition. Honolulu fashion designer Roberta Oaks presents SideSHOW from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. tomorrow in 'Aina Haina with designs from Oaks, SCOUT hi eco-friendly handbags, Ginger 13 jewelry and Zahava Czara mini massages.

ROCK SHOP

The Rock Shop event noon to 4 p.m. tomorrow at thirtyninehotel, features designs for men and women from APB, Ann..., Bulky Boy, Kisa Kosmos, Soleil Boutique, Wild Nectar and Us Girls.

There will also be a Swap Shop. Bring your old clothes and swap them on the garden rooftop.

This year's MUSE show of wedding and bridesmaids gowns is 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday at E&O Trading Co., Ward Centre.
