KAPOLEI
Aloun pumpkin patch open this, next weekend

The Aloun Farms pumpkin patch will be open to the public the next two weekends for those who want to pick their own pumpkins.

The patch will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. tomorrow, Sunday and Oct. 25-26.

Cost of the pumpkins depends on the size.

Also available are $1 hay rides into the patch, as well as such activities as kiddie bouncers, rock climbing, pony rides, photo booths, face-painting, farm-style food and fresh produce.

Parking is $3 and a portion of the proceeds will go to the Waipahu High School Health Occupations Students of America club for an upcoming conference.

Aloun is also collecting canned goods at the patch for the Hawaii Food Bank.

The pumpkin patch is on the makai side of Farrington Highway between Kapolei and 'Ewa Beach. Look for the big sign.
