Surf: 4 to 6 feet expected along south shores today

Advertiser Staff

An end-of-season south swell will continue to roll up on the south-facing shores of O'ahu today, producing surf with wave faces of 4 to 6 feet, the National Weather Service said.

Elsewhere, look for surf of 2 to 4 feet along west- and east-facing shores and 1 to 3 feet along north-facing shores.

Outlook through Thursday, Oct. 23: The south swell will peak tonight then gradually subside through early next week.

A north-northwest swell arriving Thursday will be near high surf advisory levels.
