Best surf along Hawaii's south shores today

Advertiser Staff

No need to head to the country to catch the best waves. The National Weather Service forecast calls for surf to be 3 feet to 6 feet along south shores.

Surf along east-facing shores will also be better than average at 3 feet to 5 feet, while northern shores will see surf 2 feet to 3 feet and west shores will see surf 2 feet to 4 feet.

The current south swell will slowly subside through the next few days, the Weather Service said, with another small north-northwest swell beginning to increase Wednesday, then hold at moderate levels Thursday and Friday. East-facing shores will continue to see trade winds at small to moderate levels through the forecast period.
