Southern swell starting to subside

Associated Press

The surf we've been enjoying in town and along south and east shores is still hanging around, but the National Weather Service said the south swell is slowly subsiding.

The latest surf forecast calls for surf 3 to 5 feet along east-facing shores and 2 to 4 feet along south-facing shores.

Surf will be 2 to 3 feet along northern shores and 1 to 3 feet along west shores.

Another small north northwest swell will begin to increase Wednesday, then hold at moderate levels Thursday and Friday.

East facing shores will continue to see trade wind swell at small to moderate levels through the forecast period.
