University of Hawai'i senior forward Taryn Fukuroku was named the Western Athletic Conference Offensive Player of the Week after helping the Rainbow Wahine earn their first conference win.

Fukuroku scored on a free kick three minutes into overtime Sunday night in a 2-1 win over San Jose State. She also assisted Chelsea Deptula's goal in regulation.

It is Fukuroku's second weekly conference honor this season.
