Richard K. Prahler has been named the new development branch chief of the Hawai'i Housing Finance and Development Corporation.

Prahler graduated from the University of Hawai'i with a bachelor's in pre-architecture and a master of business administration degree. He was previously the vice president of planning and analysis for C. Brewer Homes, vice president/project manager of Stanford Carr Development and most recently, director of project management for Castle and Cooke Homes Hawai'i Inc.
