State ID cards available for Moloka'i residents

Moloka'i residents can get state identification cards from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Oct. 25 at the Mitchell Pauole Community Center on Moloka'i.

The fee is $10 for people ages 65 and older, and $15 for others.

New applicants must provide an original Social Security card and a certified copy of their birth certificate or resident alien card. No documents are needed for renewal of ID cards unless there has been a change in name or citizenship.

ID cards will be mailed to applicants within 10 business days.

Recorded information on application requirements is available by calling 808-587-3111 in Honolulu or online at www.stateid.hawaii.gov. Application forms are available on the Web site and at the community center on Oct. 25.
