Small surf dominates forecast

Advertiser Staff

Surf will get no higher than 3 feet around the Hawaiian Islands today.

The latest National Weather Service surf forecast calls for surf to be 1 to 3 feet along all shores except the north-facing shores, where it will be more steady surf of 2 to 3 feet.

A small north-northwest swell will begin to increase Wednesday night, then hold at moderate levels Thursday and Friday, the weather service said.

East-facing shores will see increasing trade wind swell late in the week.
