Nanakuli man indicted for luring child for sex

Advertiser Staff

A Nanakuli man indicted today for allegedly arranging a sexual meeting on the Internet with a juvenile will be arraigned tomorrow at Circuit Court.

Francisco A. Amsic, 32, of a Auyong Homestead Road address was charged last week with first-degree electronic enticement of a child. He was released after posting $35,000 bail but today's indictment sends the case forward for trial.

Amsic was arrested by Hawai'i Internet Crimes Against Children task force agents at Ala Moana Center after he showed up for a meeting arranged with an investigator posing as a 14-year-old girl on the Internet.
