Surf along north-facing shores will be 4 to 6 this morning, but the National Weather Service said set will reach 8 feet by this afternoon.

The current north-northwest swell bringing the increased surf will peak tomorrow and subside Saturday. Another northwest swell is expected Friday night.

Elsewhere today, surf will be 2 to 4 feet along west and east shores and 1 to 3 feet along south shores.
