KAILUA
Volunteers needed to spiff up Kaha Garden

Volunteers are needed to work on Kaha Garden from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturday at 750 Kaha St.

Participants will help prune and weed the neighborhood park that sits on the edge of Kawai Nui Marsh and is filled with native Hawaiian plants. Volunteers will also learn more about these plants and discuss watershed issues.

Workdays, sponsored by the Kailua Bay Advisory Council, Hui O Ko'olaupoko and 'Ahahui Malama i ka Lokahi, are also scheduled for Nov. 22 and Dec. 27 at the same time.

To volunteer, contact Kristen Mailheau at 381-7202 or nalani@huihawaii.org.
