Artwork focuses on safe teen driving

Advertiser Staff

McKinley and Kapolei high schoolers' artwork will be on display as part of a safe teen driving campaign, Project Ignition — also to be seen on The Bus, as bumper stickers and magnetic vinyl — through Nov. 7 at the Hawaii State Library, 478 S. King St. The artwork chosen came from 10 students. The winning works brought in $5,000 from

State Farm and National Youth Leadership Council, which was used for materials and will also help send the top students to present the work in Tennessee in March; 951-1160.
