Music of Ray Charles lives today in concert at Blaisdell

The music of the legendary Ray Charles is showcased in a Toyota Pops concert at 8 p.m. today at the Blaisdell Concert Hall.

Charles protege Ellis Hall, a multi-instrumentalist and vocalist; and local vocalists Ginai and Afatia guest with the Honolulu Symphony, conducted by Matt Catingub.

Tickets are $20 to $82 general, with discounts available for military and seniors; $10 for students. Tickets for those in groups of 10 or more also are $10 each. 877-750-4400, www.ticketmaster.com.
