DOWNTOWN
Sisters of St. Francis will mark 125 years with lu'au

The Sisters of St. Francis will celebrate 125 years in the Islands on Nov. 8 with a lu'au and Mass.

The event will start at 11 a.m., with a re-enactment of the arrival of the Sisters of St. Francis to the Islands, starting at Wilcox Park and continuing down Fort Street Mall to the Cathedral of Our Lady of Peace. A Mass will start at noon at the cathedral, and a lu'au will follow at the parish hall.

Tickets to the lu'au are $15 each and can be purchased at the door.

Tickets are limited, so attendees are asked to call ahead to reserve seats.

For more information on the event or to RSVP, call Sister Marie Jose Romano at 687-3420.
