INDIGO TURNS 15

Indigo, the restaurant/ Downtown nightspot, celebrates its 15th anniversary next month with a lineup of food-and-drink pairings and club events. The latter include:
• Get Fresh! (the regular Friday weekly party) kicks things off Nov. 7 from 9 p.m. to 2 a.m. $10.
• DJ Steven Lee and opener DJ Keith Chambers spin Nov. 8, from 10:30 p.m. to 2 a.m. $10.
• Get Fresh! throws another anniversary party, billed as the biggest yet! 9 p.m. to 2 a.m. Nov. 14. $10.
• John Cruz performs an acoustic show, and there’s dinner, too. 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Nov. 15. $65.
• Get Fresh! hosts the annual KTUH benefit bash, 9 p.m. to 2 a.m. Nov. 21. $10.
Award-winning music
The Hawaiçi Academy of Recording Arts offers a concert, “2008 Nä Hökü Hanohano çAhe Mele,” featuring winners and nominees Hökü Zuttermeister, Kuçuipo Kumukahi and the Hawaiian Music Hall of Fame Serenaders, John Cruz, Maunalua and Pilioha.
It’s at 2 p.m. Nov. 8 at the Mission Memorial Auditorium. It’s free, but reserve a seat at 593-9424.
