Oahu surf report sees south swell coming

Advertiser Staff

Expect some waves on Oahu today with the National Weather Service predicting 3 to 5 feet surf along south facing shores.

Forecasters say surf along west facing shores will be 1 to 3 feet, along north facing shores will be 1 to 3 feet through and along east facing shores will be 2 to 4 feet through Monday.

Looking ahead through the week, forecasters look to a south swell arriving late Wednesday to peak Thursday and Friday. If that happens, a high surf advisory may be needed for south shores at that time.
