Officials examining bones at Iroquois Point beach

Advertiser Staff

Police have asked the city medical examiner's office to go to the beach at Iroquois Point today to investigate what appear to be human bones that have been washed up on the shore.

Lt. Danny Ford of the Kapolei police station said the age of the bones could not be determined visually.

Ford said similar remains were also discovered and retrieved by the medical examiner's office on Friday.
