Hawaii golf pro's father indicted for meth trafficking

A 44-year-old man indicted by an O'ahu grand jury on two counts of first-degree meth trafficking will be tried Oct. 20 at Circuit Court.

Derrick H. Fujikawa, father of Hawai'i golf pro Tad Fujikawa, is free on $50,000 bail until trial. Fujikawa could be sentenced up to 20 years in prison for each of the Class-A felony counts if convicted.

Details of Fujikawa's case were not available.
