UNCLE STAN

TAG NO. 08-19684

Can you believe it? Another owner surrender! Only the dates change. Who could bear to part with such a handsome honeybump? "Uncle Stan" is a good name for this black and white delight, as he does have rather an avuncular air about him! But, he'll never cry uncle, of that you may be assured. Nothing much perturbs this guy. Also, he loves having his tummy brushed, which is the ultimate test of a true, laid-back feline.

EGG

TAG. NO. 08-16987

What an unfortunate name for such a wonderful little animal. Almost anything would be better than Egg — even Eggnog! Still, it can truthfully be said that Egg is "a good egg" — well-behaved, even-tempered, somewhat shy around new folks, but quick to relax once she feels comfortable. The only fly in the ointment is that Egg is positive for heartworm, a disease that is treatable by your private vet. Oh, one last thing: Egg adores to have her tummy rubbed, and will go into paroxysms of joy if you indulge her!

These animals already may have found homes. The Hawaiian Humane Society and McInerny Dog Park at 2700 Wai'alae Ave. are open weekdays from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., weekends and holidays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. For directions, special events and to see more pets available for adoption, visit www.hawaiianhumane.org or call 946-2187.
