Weather: Mostly sunny with an occasional shower

A high pressure ridge north of Hawaii will weaken, resulting in gentle trade winds as well as land and sea breezes today, the National Weather Service said.

Clouds and showers will shift from windward to leeward areas, forecasters said.

Overall, the atmosphere will be dry and stable and rainfall will be light.

Here's a closer look at the middle of the workweek:

Today: Isolated showers after noon. Partly cloudy, with a high near 87. East wind between 9 and 11 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%.

Tonight: Isolated showers. Partly cloudy, with a low around 72. East wind between 7 and 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%.

Wednesday: Isolated showers after noon. Partly cloudy, with a high near 86. East wind between 7 and 9 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%.

Wednesday Night: Isolated showers. Partly cloudy, with a low around 71. East wind between 6 and 9 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%.

Thursday: Isolated showers after noon. Partly cloudy, with a high near 86. East wind around 6 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%.
