Advertiser Staff

The Makaha Sons have rescheduled their Moonlight Mele concert, now set for 7 p.m. Oct. 7 at the Bishop Museum's Great Lawn.

The August event had to be postponed because of health issues of John Koko, bassist with trio that also includes his brother Jerome Koko and Louis "Moon" Kauakahi.

Gates open at 5:30 p.m. for museum members, 6 p.m. for the public.

Tickets are $15 general, $10 Bank of Hawai'i customers and employees, museum members and military, free for keiki 4 and under. Tickets at the gate, if available, will be $20.

Those attending may bring low-height beach chairs, blankets or beach mats on which to sit. Vendors will provide a range of food and beverage for purchase. Outside food, drinks and cools are prohibited.
