Surf: large south swell has left town

The recent south-southeast swell has almost completely dissipated, leaving surf of 2 to 4 feet along O'ahu's south shore, the National Weather Service said

.

Elsewhere today, look for surf of 2 feet or less along west-facing shores; 1 to 3 feet along north-facing shores; and 2 to 4 feet along east-facing shores.

Outlook through Tuesday, Sept 16: No significant swells are expected.
