Extension granted for proposed West Maui hospital

The Kaanapali Land Management Corp. has extended its property donation agreement with a group trying to build a 25-bed hospital in West Maui.
The extension was signed with the West Maui Improvement Foundation Inc., which has sought the hospital, and Newport Hospital Corp., the hospital developer. The extension was required because the hospital's certificate of need application is still pending.
