WAI'ANAE
Week-long festival will run from Sept. 21-28

"Ho'iki 'Ike O Wai'anae," a week-long festival will run from Sept. 21-28 at the Makaha Golf Resort and other venues along the Wai'anae Coast.

Presented by the Wai'anae Coast Coalition, the festival will feature an assortment of food, crafts, hula performances, and other daily events, including a Hawaiian quilt exhibition, and a grand luau buffet ($50), at the resort on opening Sunday.

Throughout the week there will exhibits and activities at the Nanaikapono Community Museum, quilting lessons at the Wai'anae Public Library, and the annual Hawaiian song competition.
