Fundraiser to help 'Ewa teen fighting leukemia

A fund-raiser for an 'Ewa Beach teenager in search of a bone marrow transplant is set for Pipeline Cafe from 2-7 p.m. tomorrow.

Leilani Emosi, 19, was recently diagnosed with a form of leukemia that requires a bone marrow transplant to treat. While seeking a donor match, her family is also trying to find ways to pay her hospital bills.

Tomorrow's event will include food and entertainment. Cost is $25, $20 of which is tax-deductible. Tickets may be purchased by calling 349-1459, online at www.SweetLeilani.org, or at the door.

There will also be a silent auction, door prizes, and children's activities, as well as a bone marrow registration area.
