Move over, Jake Shimabukuro, the third annual 'ukulele contest takes place at 10 a.m. at the Aloha Tower Marketplace. The amateur competition is part of the 2008 Aloha Festivals.

Another festival taking place is the Re-Discover Kailua Family Festival at Kailua District Park. It runs from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.Games, food, entertainment, rides and movies are all part of the family-oriented excitement.
