Continental not flying to Houston

Advertiser Staff

Hawai'i travelers flying to Houston should be aware that Continental Airlines has suspended operations at its Houston hub at Bush Intercontinental Airport through today because of Hurricane Ike, airline officials said in a news release.

Continental Express and Continental Connection flights are also suspended through today, airline officials said.

Continental plans to resume flights at the hub tomorrow morning.

Travelers with itineraries to, from or through the Houston hub may postpone or reroute their trip without penalty on that airline.

If a flight has been canceled, a refund may be requested.

Details are available at www.continental.com. Travel plans also may be changed at www.continental.com (enter your confirmation number and last name in Manage Reservations). Customers also can call 800-525-0280. Automated flight status information is available at 800-784-4444.
