Police are seeking a 31-year-old Kalihi Valley man wanted for questioning in a kidnapping and terroristic threatening investigation.

Toi Albert Nofoa allegedly forced his ex-girlfriend, 25, into his red 2002 Isuzu Rodeo at gunpoint and threatened her. The kidnapping occurred Thursday at 7:40 p.m. in a parking lot at Ko Olina after security had escorted the woman employee to her vehicle, where she and Nofoa talked. Nofoa's attitude changed after she agreed to walk with him to his vehicle and she was threatened with a gun.

Nofoa allegedly drove to Hale'iwa and the woman was able to escape with assistance from bystanders at a gas station.

Nofoa fled in the red Rodeo. Police said he may be driving the Rodeo or a black 2004 H2 Hummer.

Nofoa is 6 feet 2 inches tall and 230 pounds with warrior tattoos on both shoulder sleeves; "Moni" and "Samoa" tattooed on his right and left triceps, respectively; "Daina" and "Saeu" tattooed on his right and left forearms, respectively, and "Nafoa" tattooed across his back.

Nofoa's criminal record includes one conviction.

He is considered armed and dangerous, according to Honolulu CrimeStoppers coordinator Sgt. Kim Buffett.
