Maui's Hookipa Beach Park in Paia, which was closed at 11:30 a.m. today after a confirmed sighting of two sharks, was reoped at 2 p.m.

No injuries were reported. Ocean users were asked to leave the water by lifeguards. The sharks' species remains undetermined.
