Surf: 5-8 feet expect again along northern shores

Advertiser Staff

North-facing shores on O'ahu continue to enjoy surf generated by an early season northwest swell, which is expected to generate waves of 5 to 8 feet through today, the National Weather Service said.

Elsewhere, expect surf of 3 to 6 feet along west-facing shores and 2 to 4 feet along east- and south-facing shores.

Outlook through Tuesday, Sept. 23. The current northwest swell will diminish Friday and Saturday.

Only small, short-period northwest swells are expected to continue through early next week.
