When fine artists decide to create clothing, jewelry or accessories, you can be sure they will be original and one of a kind. That's the case with the artists who are putting on Take Five, a collaboration among artistic friends. See painter Russell Lowrey's line of elegant, eclectic jewelry, Wendy Kim-Messier's artful clothing, fine artist Cora Yee's whimsical jewelry and Kim Kono's clever handmade bags and accessories; The Movement Center fills out the "five" with benefit baked goods from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. tomorrow at the Wai'oli Tea Room, 2950 Manoa Road.

CELEBRITY JEWELRY DESIGNER AT COTTAGE BY THE SEA

Adina Reyter's simple yet sophisticated jewelry has been seen on celebrities such as Cameron Diaz, Demi Moore, Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon. The celebrity designer is making her first Honolulu personal appearance with a trunk show this weekend at Cottage by the Sea in Ward Warehouse. Today through Sunday, during store hours, Reyter will present both her silver and her 14-karat gold pieces, some of which are from her most recent collection, which includes diamonds.

In addition, the boutique will debut the newest clothing collection by Testament, a Boho chic line featuring feminine ruffles and flounces. It's been seen on Cindy Crawford, Britney Spears and Paris Hilton.

MARYLEA CONRAD INTRODUCES KI-ELE

Honolulu designer Marylea Conrad named her swimwear line, launched in 2007, after her first daughter, Melia. When she had a second daughter, what could she do to make all fair and equal? She decided to create a line of jewelry and name it after her second baby, Kiele (which means gardenia or "fragrant blossom" in Hawaiian). Since Kiele is an often mispronounced name, Conrad decided to spell it phonetically; that's how Ki-ele came to be.

The line is influenced by both beach and blossoms. Prices range from $20 to $49. Ki-ele will be launched from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Alliway in Ward Warehouse.
