Recycle metal, clothes, oil and more tomorrow

A recycling community cleanup and graffiti wipe-out day will run from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. tomorrow in the Wahiawa Civic Center parking lot at 900 California Ave.

The event is sponsored by the Wahiawa Lions Club, and proceeds from the recycling will go to more graffiti cleaning projects.

Recycling materials being accepted include scrap metal, automobiles, bicycles, washers, stoves, newspapers, cardboard, beverage containers, tires, cooking oil, green waste, batteries, clothing and household items, and a maximum of one computer per household.

No hazardous fluids, microwave ovens, televisions or gas tanks are being accepted.
