Prosecutors yesterday accused two men in connection with a Thursday night armed robbery of a convenience store in the Pensacola Street area.

Stirling Ikaika Ragasa, 20, of Wahiawa, and Alex M. Singleton, 18, of Helemano, are charged with first-degree robbery and are being held overnight at the main police station cellblock in lieu of $30,000 bail pending an initial appearance tomorrow in District Court.

The robbery was reported at 8:36 p.m. Police said a handgun believed used in the robbery has not been found. Two robbers fled with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Ragasa was arrested at 9:45 p.m. Thursday in the 1200 block of Kapi'olani Boulevard while Singleton was captured at about the same time on the 800 block of Cedar Street.

In addition to first-degree robbery, Singleton also was charged with second-degree burglary and misdemeanor resisting arrest.
