Public comment sought on Kauai's Kilauea ag park

Advertiser Staff

Kaua'i County officials are seeking public input on three options for the development of a 75-acre agricultural park in Kilauea.

The alternatives were devised by the county's consultant, Kimura International after extensive discussions with Kilauea residents, elected officials, farmers and others throughout the island.

To review the alternatives, go to the county's Web site, www.kauai.gov/OED.

Comments will be accepted via e-mail, btokioka@kauai.gov, or fax, 808-241-6399, or in-person at the Office of Economic Development located at the Lihu'e Civic Center, Mo'ikeha Building, Suite 200.

The deadline to submit comments on the Kilauea ag park options is Friday, Oct. 24.

For more information about the project, call the Office of Economic Development at 808-241-4946.
