North King Street water main break repaired

Advertiser Staff

A Honolulu Board of Water Supply crew has repaired a 12-inch water main break in a section of North King Street fronting Ka'iulani Elementary School.

The break was reported about 3:15 a.m. today, and was fixed in time for water to be turned on about 1:15 p.m.

Crews, however, still need to work on road repairs this afternoon, BWS said.

In addition to the school, a mix of 10 businesses and homes are affected by the break, said BWS spokeswoman Tracy Burgo.

BWS repair crews are working at the site.

The agency set up one water wagon, at 980 Robello Lane, officials said.

No estimate was immediately available on how long repairs will take.
