'Oprah' correspondent Lisa Ling to speak at HerStory Waikiki event

Lisa Ling will discuss "A Global Perspective" when she gives the keynote address at HerStory 2008, a daylong conference Nov. 7 at the Sheraton Waikiki.
Ling was on "The View" before she became a special correspondent for the National Geographic Channel and "Oprah." She'll speak during a special luncheon presentation.
The Junior League of Honolulu's annual conference runs 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. and includes a talk by Leslie Wilcox.
Cost: $110 (before Oct. 15, $125 after that) or $85 for the luncheon only.
