Waipahu boxer Brian Viloria earned a unanimous decision victory over Mexico's Javier Lagos tonight at El Cajon, Calif.

The bout was a tune-up for a light flyweight (108 pounds) championship fight between Viloria and IBF champion Ulisses Solis on Dec. 13 at Macau, China.

Viloria improved to 23-2, including 4-0 in 2008.

Tonight's bout was eight rounds, and Viloria's manager Gary Gittelsohn said Viloria won every round.
