WAI'ANAE
Help create pathway on national Day of Action

Organizers in Wai'anae are looking for volunteers to help create the People's Path, a multi-use pathway, and help clear trash and debris from a beach on the Wai'anae Coast.

It's part of the first nationwide Day of Action, in which hundreds of events will be staged across the country to demonstrate the impact that service has in communities.

In Wai'anae, activities run from 7 to 10 a.m. Saturday at 87-890 Farrington Highway. Volunteers can park at Nani Kai/Ulehawa Beach Park, across from the Ma'ili 76 gas station.

Refreshments will be provided. For more information or to volunteer, call 696-4677.
