Surf: Northern shores may see 10 feet today

Surf along north-facing shores rose to 4 to 6 feet over night, and is expected to increase to 8 to 10 feet today, the National Weather Service said.

Elsewhere, surf along west-facing shores will rise to 2 to 4 feet today, surf along east facing-shores will be 2 feet or less and surf along south-facing shores will be 1 to 3 feet.

Outlook through Sunday, Oct. 5: A moderate north swell will peak Tuesday night, then gradually subside through Saturday. No other significant swells are expected.
