Augie T leaves 93.1 FM morning radio show

Augie T. has resigned from his position as the morning drive deejay for 93.1 FM the Zone to concentrate on his comedy career.

The comedian sent out a news release today to media outlets announcing his resignation.

"At this time in my career, I have decided that it would be the best for me to resign my position on that station so that I can concentrate on my comedy shows and the children's book that my wife and I are writing," Augie T. wrote.

His neighbor island shows can still be heard on Q103 (103.7 Maui), The Surf 95.9 Kauai, KMKK 102.3 Molokaii, 104.7 Oahu and 102.1 the Beach in Hilo.

He also said he will be doing several shows on the Mainland, including Las Vegas, San Diego, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Seattle and Washington, D.C
