SBA sets consultations to assist small businesses

The U.S. Small Business Administration is teaming up with local banks to offer confidential consultations to small business owners to discuss how they can take advantage of provisions in the American Reinvestment and Recovery Act signed into law by President Obama on February 17.

Reservations are recommended for the 30 minute appointments and are available from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on dates listed below:

— April 8, American Savings Bank, Kailua – Kona, 75-5595 C-3 Palani Rd..

— April 22, Bank of Hawaii, Waipahu Branch, 94-712 Farrington Hwy., 541-2990.

— April 23, First Hawaiian Bank, Kahala Branch, 1348 Hunakai St.

— April 29, Central Pacific Bank, Kapalama Branch, 1535 Dillingham Blvd.
