Hawaiian Airlines adds seasonal weekly flight to American Samoa

Hawaiian Airlines said today it is adding third weekly round trip flight for the summer between Honolulu and Pago Pago, American Samoa due to increased seasonal demand.

Starting June 16 and running through August 18, Hawaiian Flight 1465 will depart Honolulu every Tuesday at 5 p.m. and arrive in Pago Pago at 9:30 p.m., with return Flight 1466 departing Pago Pago that same evening at 11:20 p.m. and arriving in Honolulu on Wednesday morning at 5:35 a.m.

"Summer is a popular time for families in American Samoa and Hawaii to reconnect, so we're increasing our service to meet the added demand for air seats by our customers," said Keoni Wagner, Hawaiian's vice president of public affairs.

The new summer flight is in addition to the twice-weekly service that Hawaiian offers year-round between Honolulu and Pago Pago on Sundays and Thursdays.
