High-surf advisory extended for most islands

A high-surf advisory has been extended until midnight tonight for Niihau, Kauai,Oahu, Molokai and Maui.
The National Weather Service said surf will reach 12 to 16 feet today along north- and west-facing shores of Niihau and Kauai, and north-facing shores of Oahu, Molokai and Maui.
The surf along west-facing shores of Oahu and Molokai is expected to reach 9 to 12 feet today.
