Sheryl Crow adds Maui performance

Advertiser Staff

Nine-time Grammy-winning singer and songwriter Sheryl Crow has added an April 28 concert on Maui to her Hawai'i visit later this month. She's also performing April 25 at the Waikiki Shell.

Regarded as one of the top female artists of all time, among her hits are "All I Wanna Do (is have some fun)," "Leaving Las Vegas," "The First Cut Is The Deepest," "Everyday is a Winding Road, "Soak Up The Sun," "If It Makes You Happy" "Strong Enough," and "Favorite Mistake."

She'll perform at the Maui Arts & Cultural Center "Under the Stars" – on the Events Lawn — at 7 p.m.

Her latest CD, "Detours" was inspired by "how I feel things are going in the world and what's happened to me the last couple of years," she said.

Each of her previous studio albums has charted top 10 and earned at least platinum certification. Reserved tickets for the Maui concert are $45, $55 and $65 with premium $125 tickets available. Gates open at 5 p.m.

Tickets go on sale to the general public on Friday at 10 a.m. and can be purchased at the MACC Box Office, open 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Saturday. Ticket buyers may also charge by phone at 808-242-SHOW (808-242-7469) or order at www.mauiarts.org online.

Tickets still remain for the Waikiki Shell concert, also. Those tickets range from $35 to $65 and can be bought through www.ticketmaster.com or by calling 877-750-4400.
