Hawaii surf: 9 to 11 feet expected on North Shore

The National Weather Service has canceled a high surf advisory that was in effect for most of the islands.

On Oahu today, the North Shore is on the way down and is expected to be 9 to 11 feet.

Surf along west-facing shores will be lowering to 7 to 9 feet later today.

Surf along east- and south-facing shores acing shores will be 3 to 5 feet.

Outlook through Monday, April 13: A new northwest swell will bring moderate surf to north and west-facing shores Saturday night and Sunday.

A pair of south swells will maintain small to moderate surf along south-facing shores into next week.
