Police about 3:15 a.m. today were reporting a power outage along Kalanianaole Highway in East Oahu.

They said electrical service was out from Laukahi to Paeko streets.

Hawaiian Electric Co. repair crews were working on the problem and were in the Wailupe area, police said.

No estimate was available on how long repairs will take.
