The Blood Bank of Hawaii has scheduled a three-day blood drive on Maui this month.

The drive will take place April 20 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at Kekaulike High School, and April 21 from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and April 22 from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Cameron Center in Wailuku.

Donors must be in good health, be at least 18 years of age, weigh at least 110 pounds and bring a photo ID.

The donation process usually takes about an hour and includes some paperwork, a confidential interview and a miniphysical. The actual collection of blood takes five to eight minutes, officials said.
